These Terms of Use govern the opening, use, and closure of your iTrustLD Account and other related payment services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.
These Terms of Use, along with any additional terms and conditions referred to herein, constitute the agreement between you and us. For any additional services, you may be required to accept supplementary terms and conditions as notified to you during the ordering or usage process. We recommend printing or downloading and retaining a copy of these Terms of Use for future reference. You can always access the current Terms of Use on our website.
Depending on the type of ITrustLD Account you have, additional terms and conditions may apply as communicated to you. In case of any conflict between the additional terms and conditions and these Terms of Use, the former shall take precedence.
Please note that ITrustLD accounts are not bank accounts. By accepting these Terms of Use, you acknowledge that the Srilanka Financial Services Compensation Scheme does not apply to your ITrustLD Account. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, you may risk losing the electronic money held in your ITrustLD Account.
5.1. In order to use our payment services, you must first open an ITrustLD Account by registering your details on our website. During the signup process, you must accept these Terms of Use and our Privacy Notice, and you must have the legal capacity to do so. If you order additional services, you may be asked to accept additional terms and conditions.
5.2. You are allowed to open only one iTrustLD Account unless we explicitly approve the opening of additional accounts.
5.3. You may open an ITrustLD Account only if it is legal to do so in your country of residence. By opening an iTrustLD Account, you represent and warrant that your action does not violate any applicable laws or regulations. You shall be responsible for compensating us for any losses incurred due to your breach of this section.
5.4. All information provided during the registration process or at any time thereafter must be accurate and truthful. Failure to provide accurate information or cooperate as instructed within three (3) months of opening your iTrustLD Account, or as later notified, may result in account deactivation.
5.5. Adding Payment Methods to your ITrustLD Account is only permitted if you are the named holder of the account for that Payment Method. Any attempt to add a Payment Method for which you are not the named holder will be treated as a fraudulent act.
5.6. You must ensure that the information recorded on your iTrustLD Account is always accurate and up to date. We shall not be liable for any loss arising from your failure to maintain accurate information. We reserve the right to request confirmation of your information or documentation at any time.
5.7. You have the option to close your ITrustLD Account at any time by contacting our Customer Service. Fees related to the ongoing management of inactive accounts will continue to be charged following the closure of your Account. This provision shall survive the termination of the relationship between you and us.
6.1. When conducting online transactions, please include the ITrustLD email in the description/remark field.
6.2. If you deposit money into your account, ensure that you include the correct ITrustLD Account email on your transaction slip and send it accordingly.
6.3. The Transaction Photo you send must include the Date, Time, Description/Remark, and account number for reference.
6.4. All the above instructions are mandatory. Failure to comply may result in rejected deposits, and such fees are non-refundable.
6.5. Please note that we are not responsible for any irregularities occurring in other banks and platforms.
7.1. By using our services, you agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations concerning User Content and your use of our platform. You represent and warrant that you possess all necessary licenses, registrations, and approvals to post User Content on our platform, if applicable.
8.1. No person other than you shall have any rights under these Terms of Use.
8.3. These Terms of Use are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Srilanka. Any disputes arising under these Terms of Use or related to your iTrustLD Account shall be exclusively brought before the courts in Srilanka.
8.4. If any part of these Terms of Use is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, such part shall be severed from the remainder of the Terms of Use, which shall remain valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
